Designation: Social Listening & Analytics Manager About the Role: We are seeking a Social Listening & Analytics Manager to lead the integration of digital and real-world data for a large-scale political campaign in Punjab. The role will involve designing frameworks to collect, analyze, and structure data so it can be effectively used for campaign targeting, paid media, push emails, and voter outreach. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of Punjab’s demographic and political landscape, expertise in social and digital analytics, and the ability to translate raw data into actionable campaign strategies. Years of Experience Required: 5–7 years in analytics, digital research, or campaign data strategy Type: Work from Office (Mohali/Chandigarh) Language & Cultural Requirement: Ability to read and interpret Punjabi (essential for accurate data analysis and insights) Strong understanding of Punjab’s socio-political and demographic realities Proficiency in Hindi and English for cross-team collaboration and reporting Key Responsibilities Data Integration & Strategy Develop frameworks to marry digital listening data with ground-level research and demographic information. Create scalable systems for structuring voter and campaign data to enable downstream use in paid media, push emails, and targeted outreach. Establish clear taxonomies, categories, and processes to ensure data is accessible, retrievable, and actionable. Social & Political Analysis Lead analysis of online sentiment, conversations, and trends, contextualizing them with voter behavior, caste/community demographics, and local issues. Build models to identify voter micro-segments and recommend targeted strategies. Surface insights that help the campaign refine messages and optimize channel mix. Insight Generation & Application Translate large volumes of raw digital and field data into actionable insights for media planning, messaging, and outreach teams. Provide recommendations on where and how to deploy paid media spends for maximum resonance and efficiency. Support creation of dynamic audience segments for personalized campaign interventions. Reporting & Visualization Develop advanced dashboards, trackers, and periodic reports for campaign leadership. Present insights clearly, highlighting not just what is happening but why it matters and how to respond. Ensure data-driven recommendations are tied to real-world campaign objectives and voter engagement outcomes. Operations & Quality Control Set standards for data collection, classification, and integration across teams (social listening, field research, CRM, outreach). Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting. Recommend process improvements, tool adoption, and automation opportunities for data management. Core Competencies Analytical Expertise: Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative data analysis; experience with tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent. Social Listening & Digital Knowledge: Proficiency with tools like Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Brandwatch, or equivalent; ability to interpret online data. Demographic Understanding: Deep knowledge of Punjab’s socio-political demographics, voter behavior, and local issues. Strategic Thinking: Ability to design systems that connect insights to actionable campaign strategies. Communication: Strong skills in presenting complex data in simple, clear narratives for decision-makers. Organizational Rigour: Ability to set up processes, ensure data hygiene, and manage cross-functional integration. Agility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stakes political environment with evolving priorities. This is a 12-month contractual position based in Mohali/Chandigarh, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and project requirements.
