Job Overview:

The Assistant Manager – Capital Markets will be a key contributor to the Capital Markets team, supporting in the process of raising debt funding. This role will involve active participation in various aspects of debt capital market activities, including transaction execution, compliance management, and investor relationship building.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Resource Mobilization: Take charge of placing diverse term loan proposals and Debt Capital Market instruments, encompassing both secured and unsecured products.

2. End-to-End Transaction Execution: Lead the execution of transactions from initial investor interaction, deal structuring, and assisting in investor due diligence, to finalizing term sheets and deal documentation.

3. Compliance Management: Oversee all aspects of compliance related to existing lenders, including managing repayments to ensure regulatory adherence.

4. Covenant Reporting: Handle covenant reporting throughout the facility life cycle and conduct regular monitoring of financial covenants to ensure compliance.

5. Credit Rating Exercises: Participate actively in credit rating exercises to assess the organization's creditworthiness and support credit rating requirements.

6. Investor Relationship Management: Foster and maintain relationships with investors and Assets Under Management (AUM) under the off-book portfolio to facilitate ongoing engagement and support.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. MBA in Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 2-3 years of relevant experience.

2. Worked in the treasury/capital market team of another Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC).

3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with investors and internal stakeholders.

5. Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

6. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
