OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:
This is a governance/PMO Executive role for the IP vertical. This role is to help in governance of the projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Law / Science / Arts. MBA is preferable 5+ years of Project Management Office experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas and workflows clearly, thoroughly, and succinctly. Proactive and consultative approach with strong ability to effectively prioritize multiple competing work requirements Strong situational judgment and operational decision-making ability Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity; always seeking new approaches and challenging the organization to new levels of success. Demonstrates expertise in, driving process discovery / design / blueprint sessions with stakeholders, designing operating models, creating service delivery models, process flow mapping, creating process playbooks and standard operating procedures. Experience working directly with functional and technical resources Strong mastery of metrics and data reporting, with the ability to generate timely and thorough reports demonstrating a wide range of concepts and pointsJOB DESCRIPTION:
Lead and run the Managed Services Project Management Office, including responsibility for governance, cadence, and management. Assist the Project Manager in documenting and tracking all aspects of the project. Track all time spent on project activities and report to Project Managers periodically Participate in internal communications on standard processes and reporting. Monitor matter communications (emails, meetings, calls) Create reports on progress, for both weekly updates and more formal updates on value delivered to the business to be shared at the leadership level Monitor and track key operational metrics, identify process improvement opportunities, and continually drive for resolutions for client satisfaction. Support Operations-led initiatives through development of detailed plans and charters; tracking dependencies and deliverables; looping in appropriate resources from across the organization; and providing regular updates to leadership. Draft templates of standard project management tools such as project charters, project plans, status updates, etc. for wider use in the Legal Department. Provide consulting support at the onset of projects to help apply the templates. Develop and maintain a reporting program designed to provide a holistic view of team performance, including vendor management, staffing capacity/resource alignment, Revenue vs. Cost etc.-
