Job summary

Lead a team of designers while utilizing latest ID market trends to create engaging learning solutions?

Amazon's Customer Service Instructional Design team is looking for an exceptional experienced designer/Lead/manager with superb critical thinking skills, excellent judgment, up-to-date designing skills and knowledge of gamification, ID tools and latest market trends.

Key job responsibilities

You have a proven track record of designing, creating and balancing highly engaging , user-centric learning content. You have knowledge and experience of creating engaging content through various ID modalities including gamification. You possess strong communication skills and production sensibilities to guide the teams through creating complex learning content. You have the talent to produce and implement high quality learning solutions. You want to create delightful and surprising experiences for our learners. You are able to work independently and are comfortable taking direction and also guide teams. You’ll share your knowledge while working within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team of designers, trainers, and program teams while continue to develop your and your team’s skill set.

• Work closely with the Design Lead and leaders to design, implement, and own learning solutions programs end-to-end.

• Generate storyboards, content outlines/documentation to clearly communicate learning solutions strategies and ideas/goals.

• Prototype, implement and balance content and user engagement to create an entertaining learning experience for a diverse array of audience.

• Work with cross-teams on identifying, planning training needs, design and planning engaging content creation, use modern authoring tools along with long term development goals and execution.

• Develop data-gathering methods to gauge efficacy of content, realign design strategies to meet the requirements and then implement changes based on the data.

• Work closely with cross-teams to ensure quality throughout the learning product lifecycle.

• Design, learn, and optimize new tools and workflows with minimal supervision.

•Review, enhance and provide feedback to raise the bar on quality and design/flow of learning solutions

•Prioritize effectively to manage multiple concurrent projects and initiatives through the full instructional design process

Basic Qualification 

• 4+ years of content creation including gamified learning and leading and creating engaging rich learning experience

•Ability to create visually appealing communication solutions

•Demonstrated project management experience

•Organizational discipline to track and manage ID work for several complex projects simultaneously

•A bachelor's degree in a relevant field 1-4 years of experience in a major corporate training environment, including instructional design projects for multiple teams or groups 

•Knowledge and proven application of learner-centered, performance-based instructional theories and adult learning principles in face-to-face, virtual classroom, and self-directed eLearning modalities 

•Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills 

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

•Strong self-directed project management skills

•Authoring tools and MS Office suite, graphics tools such as Adobe

Tools Qualification

• Storyline 360 

• Procreate (preferred)

• Indesign (preferred)

• VYond

•Simulation capture tools – Adobe Captivate, Assima,
