About Us
At Chennai Chess Club , we're building a global community with a vision of making world-class chess training accessible to everyone. With 1200+ learners across the world, we are one of India's fastest-growing chess communities. Beyond coaching, we also organize corporate chess tournaments, community meetups, and engaging events that bring people together through the love of chess.
We are now looking for a passionate Sales Executive to join our growing team. This role is all about building strong connections, guiding customers, and helping them kickstart their journey in chess.
What You'll Do
- Sales Pitch - To share information about our online coaching services and convert them for demo classes.
- Customer Mediator – Understand learner needs through assessments and recommend the right coach. Coordinate between customers and coaches to schedule trial sessions.
- Point of Contact (POC) – Manage the early onboarding journey, follow up consistently, and ensure renewals.
- Reporting & Metrics – Maintain sales dashboards, track daily/weekly/monthly conversions, and report to the leadership team.
Who You Are
- Strong communicator in English and Tamil.
- Confident in cold calling and customer conversations.
- Experience in B2C sales or business development (1–2 years preferred, but freshers with the right skills are welcome).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for negotiation.
- Good with Excel & data analysis for tracking metrics.
