The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and The Key Result Areas (KRAs) for a Marketing Manager in a cafe and bar setting focus on driving foot traffic, increasing sales, building brand loyalty, and creating a unique experience for customers. Here are some key areas and responsibilities that should be considered:

1. Brand Awareness and Positioning

Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies:

Create and implement effective marketing campaigns to increase visibility and establish a unique brand identity.Social Media Management:

Manage social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) with engaging content to increase followers, engagement rates, and brand recall.Content Creation:

Develop content (visuals, blogs, videos) that reflects the brand's personality and resonates with the target audience.Partnerships and Collaborations:

Identify and establish partnerships with local influencers, businesses, and event organisers to enhance brand reach and engagement. (VERY IMPORTANT)

2. Customer Acquisition and Retention

Campaign Planning:

Plan and execute promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.Customer Feedback:

Regularly gather customer feedback through surveys, online reviews, and direct interactions to identify areas for improvement.

3. Sales and Revenue Growth

Revenue Targets:

Develop and monitor strategies to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.Upselling and Cross-selling:

Develop and implement strategies to increase average order value through promotions, combos, and suggestive selling techniques.Event Planning:

Organise in-house events, themed nights, and special occasions to drive foot traffic and increase sales.

4. Market Research and Analysis

Competitor Analysis:

Regularly analyse competitors' activities, including pricing, promotions, and customer engagement strategies.Customer Insights:

Utilise data analytics tools to gather insights on customer preferences, behaviours, and demographics.Trend Identification:

Keep up with industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas to differentiate the brand.

5. Team Management and Collaboration

Team Leadership:

Manage and mentor a team of marketing associates, graphic designers, and content creators to achieve marketing goals.Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with operations, sales, and finance teams to ensure cohesive strategies and smooth execution of marketing plans.

6. Event Marketing and Promotion

Event Planning and Execution:

Plan and promote events such as live music nights, trivia nights, sports screenings, and other themed events to attract and engage customers.Local Community Engagement:

Foster relationships with local businesses, community groups, and event organizers to create opportunities for co-marketing or hosting events.

7. Innovation and Trend Adaptation

Menu Innovation Support:

Work with the culinary team to promote new menu items and seasonal specials.Sustainability and Social Responsibility:

Promote the brand’s efforts in sustainability, community support, or other socially responsible initiatives.
