About the Position:

Designation: Manager-RPO

Domain Expertise: Automotive

Job Location: Chennai

Report to : Service Delivery Leader – RPO

Team: 6 to 10 Recruiters + Sourcers + Onboarding Specialist

Working Days: 6 days (Monday to Friday from Office and Saturday from Home)


About the Role: Taggd is seeking a seasoned Manager - RPO to lead recruitment operations for a leading automotive company's diverse business units in Chennai. This role is crucial for driving talent acquisition across multiple divisions, including commercial vehicles, sales & marketing, corporate functions, manufacturing, and product development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automotive recruitment, data analytics, and stakeholder management, with a focus on optimizing hiring processes and delivering on SLAs.


Key Responsibilities :

  • MHCV (Middle to Heavy Commercial Vehicles) :

Lead recruitment for technical and operational roles within the commercial vehicle segment.

Prior experience in automotive/commercial vehicle recruitment is highly preferred.


  • Grow (Sales & Marketing for India + SAARC) :

Drive hiring for sales and marketing positions across India and SAARC regions, with a focus on diversity recruitment.


  • Corporate (HR, Finance, Technology) :

Manage recruitment for corporate roles, including HR, Finance, IT Support, and Technology.

Ensure alignment with corporate hiring standards and stakeholder expectations.


  • Operations (Manufacturing) :

Oversee hiring for manufacturing roles, emphasizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Focus on sourcing talent with a strong background in automotive manufacturing.


  • Product Development (Engineering and R&D) :

Recruit for engineering and R&D roles with a focus on Electric Vehicles (EV), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and innovation.

Prefer candidates with a B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering and experience in R&D/engineering recruitment.


Requirements :

  • 7-10 years of RPO/recruitment experience, particularly in the automotive sector.
  • Proven expertise in data management, analytics, and optimizing recruitment processes.
  • Strong track record in high-volume hiring and managing diverse stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
  • Proficiency with ATS systems and modern recruitment tools.
  • Preferred Education : MBA in HR or a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
