Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Sales at CYC Group. The Head of Sales will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales operations, leading a sales team, and implementing effective sales strategies. They will also be responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships, achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth.

The Head of Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the sales strategy, managing the sales team, and achieving revenue targets within an organization. This position requires a strategic approach to sales management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of market dynamics.


Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Set sales targets and objectives for the sales team, and develop actionable plans to achieve them.


Team Management and Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance, support, and coaching to sales representatives, helping them develop their skills and achieve their full potential.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to motivate and incentivize the team.


Business Development:

  • Lead by example in prospecting, networking, and building relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential clients, and develop targeted strategies to acquire and retain them.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.


Sales Operations and Performance Management:

  • Establish and maintain efficient sales processes, tools, and systems to streamline operations and maximize productivity.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to track progress towards targets and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices, sales methodologies, and KPIs to ensure consistent performance and accountability across the sales team.


Customer Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, preferences, and pain points.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing solutions-oriented advice and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing, Sales, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Hotels/FMCG/Travels/Telecom industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of setting ambitious goals and driving execution to achieve them.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
