Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Furniture Designer to lead the design and development of high-end, custom furniture pieces. The role involves end-to-end ownership of design concepts, client engagement, and close coordination with production teams. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of materials, a strong design vocabulary, and a keen understanding of luxury aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Design bespoke furniture pieces aligned with the client brief, brand aesthetics, and functionality requirements
  • • Create detailed design drawings, specifications, 3D visualizations, and material boards
  • • Liaise with clients, architects, and internal design teams for concept development and approvals
  • • Oversee prototyping and monitor production to ensure design integrity and quality
  • • Research and source premium materials, finishes, and hardware suitable for luxury products
  • • Ensure adherence to timelines, quality benchmarks, and technical standards
  • • Contribute to design process improvement, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior team members
  • • Conduct quality checks during and post-production to ensure finish and function

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or Interior Design
  • 2-8 years of experience in luxury or bespoke furniture design
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or similar 3D design and rendering tools
  • • Strong knowledge of joinery, woodwork, finishes, upholstery, and fabrication techniques
  • • Excellent visual presentation, detailing, and storytelling skills
  • • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • • Strong communication skills for client interactions and cross-functional collaboration
  • • A portfolio demonstrating past work in high-end, customized furniture
