Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional with a strong background in woven textiles for the role of Manager - Domestic Marketing . The ideal candidate will bring expertise in fabric merchandising, pre-production supply chain management, and working with leading domestic brands. This role demands a blend of technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate with design and development teams to meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
Handle a portfolio of domestic brands across PAN India with a focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships.
Act as a key point of contact for brands, addressing technical queries and providing tailored solutions.
Collaboration with Design & Development Teams:
Partner with internal design and development teams to address technical inquiries from clients and international buyers.
Drive innovation by aligning fabric development with client requirements and market trends.
Product Knowledge and Expertise:
Possess strong product knowledge of various woven fabrics, including yarn-dyed, non-yarn-dyed, indigo, and prints.
Stay updated on market trends and innovations to offer insights to both clients and internal teams.
Supply Chain Coordination:
Leverage experience in supply chain operations to ensure smooth execution of orders for international and domestic brands.
Optimize pre-production and merchandising processes to meet delivery schedules and quality standards.
Commercial & Technical Acumen:
Provide input on pricing strategies and technical feasibility, ensuring competitive and viable solutions for clients.
Use technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve production or quality-related issues efficiently.
Exposure to International Practices:
Utilize prior experience with international brands to enhance supply chain operations and align domestic practices with global standards.
Business Development:
Identify growth opportunities within the domestic market, expanding the company’s footprint with leading brands.
Qualifications
Experience:
4-8 years of experience in fabric merchandising or pre-production supply chain management.
Proven track record of working with domestic brands across India, with exposure to international brands being a strong advantage.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of woven fabrics, including yarn-dyed, non-yarn-dyed, indigo, and prints.
Familiarity with fabric development processes and addressing technical queries from buyers.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to meeting client needs.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Management, or a related field.
An MBA or additional certifications in supply chain management are a plus.
