Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Talent Sourcing COE Lead with 12-15 years of experience to lead and optimize our talent sourcing operations within the rapidly evolving domains of Cloud, Data, AI, and IT Infrastructure . This individual will play a pivotal role in building strategic sourcing initiatives, managing and mentoring a team of specialized sourcers, and ensuring that we attract and engage the top technical talent across these critical areas. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of deep technical knowledge, innovative sourcing strategies, team leadership, and a data-driven approach to recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Lead Talent Sourcing Strategy
- Lead the creation and execution of innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent for key technical roles, including cloud architects, data scientists, AI engineers, DevOps professionals, and IT infrastructure experts.
- Develop and manage long-term talent pipelines to proactively address hiring needs, ensuring the company has a steady supply of candidates for both current and future technical positions.
- Align sourcing strategies with organizational growth goals, taking into account emerging technologies and future needs within cloud, data, AI, and infrastructure domains.
2. Implement and Optimize Sourcing Methodologies
- Drive the adoption of cutting-edge sourcing methodologies and tools, including Boolean search, social media recruitment, AI-driven sourcing platforms, and data analytics tools.
- Evaluate and implement sourcing technologies such as ATS, CRM systems, and recruitment automation tools to enhance candidate engagement, streamline sourcing workflows, and reduce time-to-hire.
- Continuously evaluate and refine the effectiveness of sourcing channels, adjusting strategies based on metrics like candidate quality, time-to-fill, and cost-per-hire.
3. Team Management and Leadership
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of specialized talent sourcers, providing training, development, and career growth opportunities.
- Set clear performance expectations and goals for the sourcing team, monitoring progress, providing feedback, and ensuring KPIs (e.g., candidate pipeline health, time-to-fill, quality-of-hire) are met.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the team and across the broader talent acquisition organization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and go-to resource for the team, providing insights on sourcing best practices and industry trends.
4. Collaboration with Hiring Managers and Stakeholders
- Partner closely with hiring managers, department heads, and senior leadership to understand the specific talent requirements for cloud, data, AI, and infrastructure roles.
- Collaborate on developing job descriptions, candidate profiles, and competency models to ensure alignment between the business needs and sourcing efforts.
- Provide strategic guidance to the recruitment team and hiring managers on candidate sourcing, engagement strategies, and interview processes for complex technical roles.
5. Talent Mapping and Market Intelligence
- Conduct deep market research and competitive intelligence to identify and map out talent pools in cloud, AI, data, and infrastructure sectors.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, using this knowledge to anticipate skill shortages and future talent needs.
- Build and maintain networks and relationships with high-potential candidates, engaging passive talent and keeping them warm for future opportunities.
6. Data-Driven Recruitment and Analytics
- Use recruitment analytics to measure and report on sourcing effectiveness, identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on sourcing metrics, pipeline health, and market trends.
- Leverage data to refine sourcing strategies and decision-making, ensuring the recruitment process is continuously improved for efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Employer Branding and Candidate Engagement
- Work with the employer branding team to ensure the company is positioned as an employer of choice in the cloud, AI, data, and infrastructure sectors.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing campaigns, including webinars, tech meetups, and hackathons, to engage with potential candidates and build the company’s reputation in the tech community.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring clear communication and a high level of engagement with all prospects.
8. Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives
- Lead sourcing efforts to attract diverse talent, ensuring a strong focus on increasing diversity across technical teams in cloud, data, AI, and IT infrastructure roles.
- Partner with Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) teams to implement inclusive sourcing practices and strategies that attract underrepresented groups in tech.
- Track and report on diversity metrics, ensuring goals for diverse candidate slates and hires are met.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
Technical Expertise:
- Cloud Technologies : In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and roles such as cloud engineers, cloud architects, and solutions architects.
- Data & AI : Experience sourcing data scientists, AI engineers, machine learning engineers, and data analysts, with familiarity in tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hadoop, and Spark.
- IT Infrastructure : Understanding of IT infrastructure roles, including network engineers, systems architects, and DevOps engineers, with expertise in infrastructure-as-code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and virtualization.
- Familiarity with other technologies and emerging trends in cloud-native development, big data, AI/ML, and edge computing.
Sourcing Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, deep web sourcing, and leveraging specialized platforms like GitHub, StackOverflow, and LinkedIn.
- Experience with AI-based sourcing tools and automated candidate engagement systems (e.g., HireVue, SeekOut, Entelo, LinkedIn Recruiter).
- Ability to build and nurture talent pipelines and cultivate relationships with passive candidates.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams of talent sourcers, including mentoring and coaching junior team members.
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, hiring managers, and senior leadership.
- Ability to foster a positive team culture and ensure team members are motivated, productive, and aligned with strategic goals.
Recruitment Analytics & Data-Driven Mindset:
- Expertise in using recruitment metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate quality, sourcing channel ROI).
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting, using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to track performance and identify trends.
Diversity and Inclusion Focus:
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion in recruiting, with experience in implementing inclusive sourcing strategies.
- Ability to drive initiatives aimed at increasing diversity in technical talent pools, ensuring a fair and inclusive recruitment process.
Education & Experience:
- Experience : 12-15 years of recruiting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing sourcing teams focused on technical hiring in cloud, data, AI, and infrastructure.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; certifications in technical recruiting (e.g., AIRS, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.) are a plus.
- Additional Qualifications : Advanced knowledge of ATS, CRM, and recruitment automation tools. Proficiency with recruitment metrics and analytics platforms.
