Roles and Responsibilities

● As a Campus Security Head you are responsible to protect and safeguard all employees, students and visitors, their belongings. Also ensuring that all University properties are adequately secured at all times. ● To create Policies & Procedures for the security department and ensure a smooth application across University. ● To supervision of all Security Personnel and giving clear direction on all security related aspects ● To Plan and ensure execution of Security arrangements as required by the University. ● To look after all the security arrangements in the campus. ● To supervise and control the work of security personnel. ● To assist the University authorities in maintaining law and order. ● To liaison with local Government authorities and all department heads and campus security heads to ensure University employees are adhering to established security procedures. ● To maintain a strict surveillance inside and outside the campus to avoid any disturbing situation. ● To assist the University Hostel Administration in day to day functioning i.e. eviction of unauthorized occupants / intruders

● To attend to fire incidents and other calamities and incidents on the campus. ● Ensure compliance with all security standards and preventative measures. ● To establish the security training and planning ● To recruit the respective campus security head and the corresponding teams. ● To format & establish Training and Development plan for security department. ● To work as a mentor / guide to campus security head in establishing the security protocols. ● To handle complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.

Skills Required ● Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. ● Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. ● Management of Personnel Resources - Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job. ● Crisis Management and Emergency Planning ● Communication skills (Brilliant / Effective)

Experience ● More than 10 years experience ● Commissioned Officer from Defense.

Qualification ● Any Graduation and Post-Graduation ● Any certificate course in security and protection etc.
