
New Vendor Development

We are looking for a proactive New Vendor Development Executive/Manager to strengthen our supply chain ecosystem. This role will focus on identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new vendors across categories, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery for our diverse purchase requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and source potential vendors for raw materials, components, and project-related procurement.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities in terms of quality, capacity, pricing, and compliance .
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure long-term collaboration.
- Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules to align with company standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, projects, operations) to fulfill purchase requisitions effectively.
- Ensure vendor compliance with Floatex's quality standards, certifications, and ESG policies .
- Continuously expand and update the approved vendor list to minimize procurement risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in vendor development, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, quality audits, and contract terms.
- Ability to multitask across multiple purchase categories.
- Experience in solar, renewable energy, manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors is a plus.
