We are now looking for a New Product Development Manager who can drive product innovation, manage end-to-end development, and build a sustainable product launch pipeline.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The
New Product Development Manager
will be responsible for identifying market trends, ideating new products, managing third-party manufacturers, sourcing packaging solutions, and ensuring timely launches. This role is key to driving the brand's growth through continuous innovation and excellence in execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Market Research & Ideation

○ Identify emerging skincare trends, consumer needs, and market gaps.

○ Develop concepts for innovative and high-performing products aligned with the brand's vision.

● Product Development

○ Collaborate with third-party manufacturers, formulators, and labs to create effective and safe formulations.

○ Review formulations, conduct trials, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

○ Manage product testing, stability studies, and efficacy validation.

Vendor & Packaging Management

○ Source, evaluate, and negotiate with packaging vendors for innovative, premium, and sustainable solutions.

○ Ensure packaging aligns with brand identity, cost efficiency, and quality standards.

● Project Management

○ Build and maintain a regular product launch pipeline (quarterly/bi-annual).

○ Track timelines, budgets, and deliverables from concept to final launch.

○ Coordinate across R&D, marketing, design, and supply chain teams for seamless execution.

Compliance & Documentation

○ Oversee regulatory documentation, ingredient disclosures, and safety certifications.

○ Ensure products meet all legal and quality standards.

Innovation & Benchmarking

○ Continuously benchmark global beauty brands for innovation.

○ Recommend new formats, ingredients, and technologies for differentiation.

REQUIREMENTS:

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related field.

● 3–6 years of experience in skincare/cosmetics product development (preferably with D2C or FMCG brands).

● Strong understanding of skincare formulations, ingredients, and packaging.

● Experience in managing third-party manufacturers and vendors.

● Project management skills with ability to manage multiple launches simultaneously.

● Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

● Passionate about skincare innovation and consumer-first thinking
