Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Government Sales Specialist to drive business growth by engaging with government organizations and public sector enterprises across India. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of government procurement processes, excellent sales skills, and a passion for advanced manufacturing technologies like 3D printing.
What You Will Do
1.Government Client Acquisition
Identify and engage with relevant government clients, and agencies to promote 3D printing solutions.
Develop strategies to penetrate the government sector and expand market presence.
2.Partner Management
Work closely with Stratasys partners ecosystem to augment their efforts while bringing new deal on the table
Coach partner sales teams on government procurement process
3.Procurement and Tender Management
Navigate government procurement processes, including tenders, e-auctions, and direct negotiations.
Prepare and submit proposals that comply with public sector requirements.
4.Relationship Building
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, government officials, and decision-makers.
Act as the primary point of contact for all government-related sales opportunities.
5.Sales Planning and Execution
Meet sales targets by developing and implementing effective government sales strategies.
Monitor and analyze government policies, initiatives, and budgets relevant to 3D printing.
6.Market Intelligence
Keep abreast of industry trends, government policies, and competitor activities in the 3D printing domain.
Identify opportunities for new products, applications, or partnerships within the public sector.
7.Compliance and Reporting
Ensure adherence to regulatory, legal, and ethical standards in all dealings with government entities.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and opportunities.
What We Need:
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, MBA or a related field
Experience :
10+ years of experience in government sales, preferably in technology or advanced manufacturing.
Familiarity with government procurement portals and processes in India (e.g., GEM, eProcurement).
Skills :
Strong understanding of 3D printing technologies and applications.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to navigate complex bureaucratic environments and build long-term relationships.
Other Requirements :
Willingness to travel extensively within India.
Knowledge of relevant government policies is a plus
