ZEISS in India -

Purpose:Identify, Design, Develop, Learning & Development strategy & implement customized programs as per the medical technology division’s requirement with defined business outcomes.Drive skill enhancement and development initiatives for the employee of Medical technology division after aligning with business unit heads.

Main Accountabilities:

The Learning and Development Manager will manage multiple learning programs for employees within medical technology division comprising of Microsurgery and Ophthalmology business units. This would include customer facing employees, back office, field service engineers, business managers and leaders.This includes leading needs analysis activities, setting program strategy and direction, organizing, and overseeing facilitators, course evaluation and analysis.Building strong working relationships business units head, will continually dive deep to understand the learning needs, using data and insights into the business to build or adapt learning methods, materials or technology that will support the learners.The Manager will be responsible to Collaborate with business leaders across functions, to build and manage a variety of learning and development programs and offerings.Ensure high quality, consistent and innovative approaches for delivering training programs in a rapidly growing and changing organization.Conducting in-house session on upskilling and enhancing domain expertise and interpersonal skills, managerial skill etc.Ensuring ZEISS compliance trainings are completed on time without any deviation.The candidate should have in-depth expertise in Designing and developing learning solutions to address identified needs. Facilitate organizational development and change.Should have expertise in sourcing, negotiating and managing programs with external learning management agencies for souring learning solution to fit in to the need of the organization.Designing & managing the end-to-end L&D process with available internal programs as well develop and manage external vendors for implementing programs as and when required.Management of internal LMS (Learning management system) and tracking training hours.Managing training budget, logistics, MIS and reporting on monthly, quarterly & yearly basisKeeping up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, attending relevant courses.

Job Specifications:

Education

- Post-Graduation / MBA from reputed institute.

Experience -10 to 12 years professional experience in the field of learning / employee development / talent management.Track record of introducing new strategies, innovative learning methods and use of technology and transforming learning within organizations.Strong stakeholder management, project management, consulting, facilitation, and communication skills.Ability to effectively interact with Senior Leadership.Capability to operate and implement in a matrix organization, with and without direct supervisory control.Experience working in healthcare technology environment will be preferred.Experience and knowledge of Opthalmology, Microsurgery or similar healthcare modalities will be an added advantage.
