About the location:

Open since May 2019, in the information technology capital of India, Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travellers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. Designed to reflect a sense of its location, the Hotel’s design merges nature and architecture in an homage to Bengaluru’s reputation as the Garden City. Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE is located in one of the city’s most dynamic development that includes Four Seasons Private Residences, premium grade office space, sophisticated retail, dining and entertainment.

About the role

As a Learning & Development Manager you will lead the Learning function of the hotel & residences. You will co-ordinate and organize a range of development activities that contribute to the attainment of the Company’s clearly prescribed performance standards and Hotel Goals.

This role is a Department Head level, reporting to the Director of People & Culture.

As the hotel is unable to obtain work permit, you must have authorization to work in India.

What you will do:

Systematically analyse the Hotels training needs and deliver relevant learning.

Plan and co-ordinate the production of Departmental Training Plans, act as an internal consultant to Heads of Departments on department related training issues.

Source and recommend appropriate external training organisations or resources, maintain a current knowledge of statutory requirements and develop creative and innovative training programs.

Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and initiatives through measuring results and monitoring behavioral change.

Analyze service gaps in Glitch Reports, Guest Comment Cards, and LQA Reports to improve service levels and close performance gaps.

What you bring:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a managerial role in Learning & Development.

Experience in adult education or a similar environment.

Experience in hotel operations or other service environments is an added advantage.

 Ability to read and speak and write English and possess strong interpersonal & public speaking skills.

Is Creative in promoting training programmes and has an immersive presence within the hotel management to aggressively drive training & Development.
