Incident/Application Manager - Support

Position Overview:

As an Incident/Application Manager - Support, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and resolution of incidents related to our applications and Digital services. With your extensive experience in incident management and deep technical understanding, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless operations and superior service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and lead the incident management process, ensuring swift identification, resolution, and recovery of application-related incidents to minimize impact on business operations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and service delivery, to streamline incident handling and communication.

- Develop and implement incident response plans, establishing clear guidelines for prioritization, escalation, and resolution.

- Analyze incident trends and root causes to recommend preventive measures and improvements in processes, applications, and infrastructure.

- Coordinate incident post-mortems, capturing key insights and actions to drive continuous improvement.

- Act as the point of contact for critical incidents, providing regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.

- Work closely with development teams to ensure application stability, scalability, and performance.

- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation, including incident playbooks and knowledge base articles.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

- Handling /Supervise off role support staff

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in incident management and application support within a technology-driven environment.

- Proven track record of successfully managing high-impact incidents and driving their resolution.

- Deep understanding of incident management best practices and ITIL framework.

- Strong technical background, with proficiency in troubleshooting complex application and system issues.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and driving collaboration.

- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools, incident tracking systems, and performance analysis tools.

- Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or related credentials are a plus.
