One of our B2 C portfolio companies is hyper-scaling, and they are now looking to hire a Category Director to own one of their key categories in the business.ResponsibilitiesDefine targets and deliver revenue growth, contribution margin, and strong returnsDecide which campaign dates to prioritize across the year and then turn them into quarterly and monthly category plansCreate bundles and promotions (price points, value-adds, packaging) that are authentic, differentiated, and user drivenCo-create briefs, segmentation, and channel plans and set success metrics for those channelsSet clear guardrails for user experience including transparency, communication, and on-time delivery to raise ratings/NPS.Institutionalize SOPs, SLAs, and a go-live checklist for content accuracy and fulfillment readinessLead a high-performing category team; set goals, reviews, and a rigorous experimentation cadence.QualificationsAt least 6 to 8 years of experienceStrong execution orientation with experience managing multi-stakeholder projectsExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth and culturally contextual environmentPrior experience with B2 C products is an advantageA passion for the 1 to 10 journeyPlease apply to this role directly on Linked In.
