JOB Title: Technical Sales Engineer - Catalyst Specialist


Position Summary: We are in search of a dynamic Chemical Engineer with a background in chemical processes and a deep understanding of chemical products, specifically in the realms of catalyst trapping and catalysis. This role is pivotal in driving sales and providing technical expertise to clients within the manufacturing industry. As a Catalyst Specialist, you will leverage your knowledge to effectively demonstrate the value of our products and solutions to potential clients. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to comprehend their needs and offer tailored technical solutions, focusing on catalyst trapping and catalysis.
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the efficacy of our catalyst solutions to potential clients.
  • Work closely with the sales team to devise strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding our market presence.
  • Provide comprehensive technical support to clients throughout the sales cycle, including product selection, application guidance, and issue resolution.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in catalyst technology to effectively position our products in the market.
  • Foster and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including engineers, procurement managers, and production supervisors.
  • Liaise with the engineering team to ensure seamless implementation of our solutions at client sites.
  • Prepare detailed technical proposals, quotations, and sales contracts in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Consistently meet or surpass sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel within Gujarat and occasionally to other regions as required.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field is essential.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the chemical manufacturing sector.
  • Profound understanding of chemical processes and products, particularly in catalyst trapping and catalysis.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to thrive independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Fluency in English and Gujarati languages preferred.
  • Must be located in Gujarat or willing to relocate to Ahmedabad.


Salary Range: 6-7 Lakhs per annum
