Senior Associate Debt Syndication

Key Responsibilities:

  • Origination & Execution

  • Support in originating new debt mandates through corporate relationships and market research.

  • Lead transaction execution including preparation of pitch books, information memorandums, and financial models.

  • Structure debt products (Term Loans, Working Capital, Project Finance, Structured Debt, etc.) to meet client needs.

  • Client & Lender Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders (banks, NBFCs, mutual funds, etc.), and rating agencies.

  • Coordinate with lenders for deal negotiations, credit discussions, and documentation.

  • Provide end-to-end support to clients during transaction closure.

  • Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct industry and company research to support deal structuring and credit assessments.

  • Stay updated with RBI guidelines, capital market trends, and new debt products.

  • Team & Process Contribution

  • Mentor junior team members on execution-related tasks.

  • Contribute to business development strategies and maintain deal pipelines.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of debt products, capital markets, and financial instruments.
  • Excellent financial modeling, credit appraisal, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and transactions simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong execution capabilities.
