
Sales & Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales & Operations Manager to lead and coordinate our catering sales and service delivery operations. The ideal candidate will drive business growth through strategic sales initiatives, while ensuring efficient, high-quality catering service execution. You'll manage client relationships, oversee day-to-day operations, and lead a team committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
- Identify new catering sales opportunities in corporate, social, wedding, and event sectors.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, venues, event planners, and partners.
- Prepare customized proposals, pricing, and presentations for potential clients.
- Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to secure repeat and referral business.
- Collaborate with marketing to create promotional campaigns and attend industry events.
Operations Management
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of catering events from inquiry to delivery.
- Work closely with culinary, logistics, and service teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Manage inventory, equipment, staffing, and vendor coordination for each event.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operational efficiency.
Team Management
- Lead and supervise the sales, kitchen, service, and logistics teams.
- Schedule staffing and resource allocation based on event requirements.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team performance to maintain high service standards.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven team culture.
Financial & Administrative Duties
- Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports for events.
- Track KPIs, analyze performance data, and report to senior management.
- Implement cost control measures without compromising service quality.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Management, Sales, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales and operations, preferably within the catering, hospitality, or food service industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large-scale events.
- Strong understanding of food service logistics, event planning, and customer service.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and catering/event management software (e.g., Caterease, Tripleseat, or similar).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-volume catering or event management.
- Knowledge of local health and safety regulations in food service.
- Culinary background or understanding of kitchen operations is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹35, ₹50,000.00 per month
