Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales & Operations Manager to lead and coordinate our catering sales and service delivery operations. The ideal candidate will drive business growth through strategic sales initiatives, while ensuring efficient, high-quality catering service execution. You'll manage client relationships, oversee day-to-day operations, and lead a team committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development

  • Identify new catering sales opportunities in corporate, social, wedding, and event sectors.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, venues, event planners, and partners.
  • Prepare customized proposals, pricing, and presentations for potential clients.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to secure repeat and referral business.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create promotional campaigns and attend industry events.

Operations Management

  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of catering events from inquiry to delivery.
  • Work closely with culinary, logistics, and service teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Manage inventory, equipment, staffing, and vendor coordination for each event.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operational efficiency.

Team Management

  • Lead and supervise the sales, kitchen, service, and logistics teams.
  • Schedule staffing and resource allocation based on event requirements.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team performance to maintain high service standards.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven team culture.

Financial & Administrative Duties

  • Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports for events.
  • Track KPIs, analyze performance data, and report to senior management.
  • Implement cost control measures without compromising service quality.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Management, Sales, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and operations, preferably within the catering, hospitality, or food service industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large-scale events.
  • Strong understanding of food service logistics, event planning, and customer service.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and catering/event management software (e.g., Caterease, Tripleseat, or similar).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-volume catering or event management.
  • Knowledge of local health and safety regulations in food service.
  • Culinary background or understanding of kitchen operations is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35, ₹50,000.00 per month
