Position Title: Sales Manager - IT Services Sales / Web Development Project Sales


Job Description:


Overview: As a Sales Manager specializing in web development project sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding business opportunities within the web development sector. You will leverage your sales expertise and industry knowledge to identify prospects, build relationships, and close deals. This role requires a strategic approach to sales, effective communication skills, and a strong understanding of web development solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


Business Development:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base.
  • Identify and prioritize target markets and industries for web development project sales.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, trends, and competitors.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and other sales strategies.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Understand client requirements and objectives to propose tailored web development solutions.
  • Conduct consultations and presentations to showcase company capabilities and value proposition.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and objections in a timely and professional manner.


Proposal Development and Negotiation:

  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts for web development projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including developers and project managers, to create customized solutions aligned with client needs.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing to maximize profitability while meeting client expectations.
  • Follow up with clients to secure contracts and close sales.


Sales Pipeline Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline status using CRM software.
  • Track and monitor progress against sales targets and KPIs.
  • Forecast sales revenue and provide regular updates to management.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the sales process and implement corrective measures as needed.


Market Intelligence and Strategy:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments in web development.
  • Analyze sales data and market insights to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Develop and adjust sales strategies based on market dynamics and customer feedback.


Qualifications:

  • Technical Graduate - BCA, MCA, B.Tech or equivalent is a must.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with min of 5 years of experience in selling web development projects or related services.
  • Strong understanding of web development technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and establish long-term relationships.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
