Job Description

● Develop and execute the claims department's strategic vision, aligning with the company's overall
goals and objectives.
● Provide comprehensive oversight of all claims operations, including intake, processing,
investigation, and settlement.
● Establish and enforce claims policies and procedures in accordance with industry regulations,
ensuring compliance and efficiency.
● Implement strategies to enhance claims processing efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and minimise errors. ● Maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure accuracy, fairness, and consistency in claims handling.
● Analyse claims data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and provide regular
reports to senior management.
● Collaborate with other departments, including underwriting, legal, and customer service, to
address complex claims and streamline processes.
● Oversee relationships with external vendors, such as adjusters or investigators, to ensure quality
and timely information gathering for claims processing.
● Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure the claims department's adherence to all relevant
laws and guidelines.

The Successful Applicant

● Masters / MBA degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field preferably from Tier 1 or Tier 2 colleges
● 8+ years of progressive experience in insurance claims management
● Comprehensive knowledge of insurance claims principles, practices, and regulations across
various insurance lines.
● Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to drive informed decisions and
process improvements.
● Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
● Proficiency in claims management software and tools.
● A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute initiatives to achieve departmental and
organisational objectives.
● Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
