Job Profile: BID Manager
Location: Andheri East
Industry: IT Solutions / System Integration / Infrastructure & Services
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end bid management activities for large IT infrastructure, software, and services opportunities (RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, and Tenders).
- Study customer requirements, analyze RFP/RFQ documents, and ensure complete and timely bid submission.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, technical, legal, commercial, procurement) to collect inputs for preparing competitive and compliant proposals.
- Prepare technical and commercial documentation, proposals, compliance matrices, and project timelines.
- Review and enhance proposal qualityfocus on accuracy, grammar, formatting, branding, and alignment with customer expectations.
- Maintain bid tracker, update management on bid status, and ensure documentation control and filing.
- Interact with OEMs/partners for price support, solution validation, and proposal alignment.
- Ensure adherence to timelines and manage multiple bids concurrently.
- Ensure post-bid follow-ups for presentations, negotiations, and award status.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Any Graduate
- 5+ years of experience in bid/proposal management in the IT/System Integration industry.
- Strong knowledge of tendering processes for Government, PSU, and Enterprise customers.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), tender portals, and proposal tools.
- Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments.
Preferred Competencies:
- Experience in dealing with GeM and other e-tendering platforms.
- Knowledge of networking, server, storage, and cloud technologies is a plus.
