Apply before Position: Desktop Support EngineerExperience Required: +3 Years Location: Pune Employment Type: Full time Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer with over 3 years of experience to provide first and second-level technical support to end-users. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT assets, supporting collaboration tools, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. Key Responsibilities Provide L1 and L2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications . Troubleshoot hardware/software issues in person, remotely, or via phone/email. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory. Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.). Maintain and update IT asset inventory with proper documentation. Assist in employee onboarding/offboarding including device setup and recovery. Escalate unresolved technical issues to higher-level teams or vendors. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and protocols . Participate in IT projects including system upgrades, migrations, and rollouts . Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred). 3+ years of experience in desktop/end-user support. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 . Experience with hardware troubleshooting, installation, and upgrades . Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills Basic knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP). Exposure to ITIL practices and documentation.
