About the Desktop Support Engineer Position We are looking for a bright Desktop Support Engineer to provide day to day technical support to our employees. This Engineer will give support via phone, web, email, chat and other channels as required. Shift: Fixed Night Shifts (6:30pm to 3:30am IST) Desktop Support Engineer Responsibilities Take ownership of employees issues reported and see problems through to resolution Study, diagnose, troubleshoot and recognize solutions to solve customer issues Follow standard methods for proper escalation of unsolved issues to the appropriate internal teams Provide timely and detailed feedback to customers Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues Installation, configuration & Management of Operating system (Windows) & application software. Setup and maintenance of IT systems & devices. Knowledge of data backup. Knowledge of Network Device & Troubleshooting. Knowledge and understanding of VOIP Good documentation skills. Ability to learn and detail oriented. Excellent written and verbal communications. Should be able to understand technical terms.
