Delhi, India Azim Premji Foundation Full time
At the Foundation, we make multi-year grants to not-for-profit organizations that work with the most vulnerable in our society. Through such support, people who are deeply disadvantaged and marginalised are offered immediate care, access to essential services, and the possibility of a dignified future.

We make grants to civil society organizations that work on a range of thematic areas such as, urban homeless, persons with disability, women survivors of violence, adolescent girls at risk, street children, elderly poor, manual scavengers, waste pickers, migrant workers, gender and sexual minorities, small and marginal farmers, and tribal and water deficient communities.

Programme Manager, Rural Creche Initiative

Over the past few years, the Foundation has been supporting the setting up and operation of Sishu Ghar, a decentralized community-based day-care centre where caregivers can leave children aged 7 months to 3 years while they go to work. The Shishu Ghar provides a safe and secure environment for children's overall growth and development through care, feeding, health promotion and early childhood development activities. Currently, this initiative is being implemented in Adivasi dominated areas of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Odisha.

We invite candidates who aspire to contribute to social change and resonate with the idea of creating lasting impact in the lives of marginalized and vulnerable communities. In this initiative, we support our partners by way of multi-year grants to set up and operate the Sishu Ghar.

Candidates with sustained grassroots experience of engaging deeply with issues related to Adivasi communities and experience in implementing programs on the ground in rural areas are encouraged to apply.
