MOTION GRAPHICS ARTIST JOB DESCRIPTION

We at String Art are seeking a highly skilled and creative Motion Graphics Artist to join our team. As a Motion Graphics Artist, you will be responsible for creating, editing and producing high-quality video content as per String Art standards for a variety of projects, including

  • Trailer Cuts
  • Film Editing
  • Documentaries
  • Songs
  • Commercial Ads
  • Multi-cam Edits
  • Green Screen Edits
  • Motion Graphics
  • Montages/Slideshow/Parallax
  • Thug Life Edits/Meme Edits/Social Media Posts


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organizing Footage and Folder Structure:
  • Watch and analyze raw footage to take the best shots into the timeline.
  • Organize and label clips for easy access during the editing process.
  • Rough cut and send it to reviews before moving on to further steps.
  • Adding Effects and Enhancements:
  • Motion graphics, visual effects, graphics, and animations.
  • Perform color grading and correct any visual inconsistencies.
  • Add music, sound effects, and voice enhancement for dialogue.
  • Ensuring Quality and Consistency:
  • Must have knowledge on standard color theory.
  • Must have knowledge on codecs and containers, bit depth, HDR and frame rates.
  • Maintain a consistent style and tone throughout the video.
  • Ensure the final product meets technical specifications and quality standards
  • Collaborating with Team Members:
  • Work closely with the Director, Content Writers, 2D Artists, and other team members to understand their vision.
  • Make revisions based on feedback given.
  • Exporting and Delivering Final Product:
  • Must have knowledge on various output resolutions and formats for theaters, OTT and social media platforms.
  • Must have strong knowledge on choosing content, BGM and motion graphics for shorts and trailers.
  • Very strong knowledge on designing posters, thumbnails and other creatives for social media.
  • Staying Updated with Industry Trends:
  • Continuous learning about new editing techniques, software updates, latest video editing trends, motion graphics trends and technologies.
  • Implement industry best practices to improve efficiency and quality
