Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Technical Lead with 6-8 years of experience to drive the development of low-latency, high-availability, and high-performance Rest APIs using Java. This role requires a strong understanding of Microservices architecture, Java, Spring Boot, Rest API, RDBMS, and Kafka.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant Rest API solutions using Java.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code, ensuring the development of high-quality applications.
- Document technical designs for new projects and enhancements to existing solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve problems with existing application code.
- Constantly improve code coverage and quality metrics.
- Conduct design sessions and code reviews, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Microservice architecture.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-platform teams for seamless integrations.
- Exhibit strong learning agility, staying abreast of new technologies and methodologies.
- Take personal initiative and responsibility for areas of ownership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in Java development, with a focus on Rest API implementation.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RDBMS, and Kafka.
