Role & responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities of the Candidate

  • Test Planning & Strategy Develop detailed test strategies, test plans, and test cases for functional, system, and API testing.
  • Automation Development – Design and implement API automation frameworks using Rest Assured, Karate, Postman, or similar tools.
  • Functional & API Testing – Perform both manual and automated testing at API and application levels, ensuring quality and reliability of digital products.
  • Collaboration – Work closely with Developers, Product Managers, QA, and DevOps engineers in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Defect Management & Reporting – Analyze test results, track defects, prepare test reports, and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Mobile App & Cross-Platform Testing – Test mobile apps (Android/iOS) using Android Studio, XCode, Charles Proxy, and related debugging tools.
  • Database Validation – Validate backend data using SQL/NoSQL databases to ensure accuracy and integrity of transactions.
  • Monitoring & Debugging – Utilize tools like Kibana, Grafana, Crashlytics, and Charles Proxy for API monitoring, log analysis, and debugging.
  • Performance & Non-Functional Testing – Conduct performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter/Gatling and validate NFRs like battery usage, data consumption, and crash logging.
  • Continuous Integration/Deployment Support – Work with CI/CD pipelines, ensuring test automation integration and smooth product delivery.
