Job Description: Relationship Manager (Mutual Funds, Demat Accounts, Insurance)Role Overview:

A Relationship Manager (RM) in the financial services industry is responsible for managing and building strong relationships with clients to offer them personalized financial advice and solutions. The RM handles various investment and financial products such as mutual funds, demat accounts, insurance, and other financial instruments, ensuring that clients' financial goals and risk appetite are met through tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships and providing ongoing support.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients while identifying potential new clients through referrals, networking, or direct outreach.
  • Conduct regular meetings and reviews with clients to understand their financial needs, goals, and concerns.
  • Product Knowledge and Advisory:
  • Provide expert guidance on investment products like mutual funds, equities, insurance, and other financial services such as demat accounts.
  • Assess the client's risk appetite and financial objectives to recommend suitable investment products.
  • Keep clients informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and new product offerings.
  • Financial Planning and Wealth Management:
  • Analyze client portfolios and offer strategic advice to optimize returns and minimize risks.
  • Create personalized financial plans and investment strategies, ensuring alignment with the client's financial goals.
  • Regularly monitor the performance of client investments and suggest rebalancing when needed.
  • Sales and Cross-Selling:
  • Drive sales of financial products, including mutual funds, insurance policies, demat accounts, and other wealth management services.
  • Cross-sell products based on the client's financial needs, promoting relevant products to add value to the client's portfolio.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company's revenue.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements in all client transactions and investment recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of client portfolios, financial plans, and transaction histories.
  • Assist clients in documentation for account openings, transactions, and other formalities related to financial services.
  • Market Research and Updates:
  • Stay updated on the latest market trends, financial products, and regulatory changes.
  • Research and analyze market data to provide accurate advice to clients, ensuring they remain informed about investment opportunities and risks.
  • Communicate product knowledge and updates clearly to clients, aiding in informed decision-making.
  • Customer Service Excellence:
  • Provide prompt and professional customer service to address client queries, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Develop trust-based relationships by being a reliable and proactive financial advisor.
  • Solicit feedback and continuously improve services to meet client expectations.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of mutual funds, insurance products, demat accounts, and other financial instruments.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Strong interpersonal skills and a client-first attitude.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze market data and client portfolios to provide actionable financial advice.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven ability to meet sales targets through effective relationship-building and cross-selling strategies.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address client concerns and provide tailored financial solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in managing financial records and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience (2-5 years) in handling mutual funds, demat accounts, insurance, or other financial products in a similar relationship management or sales role. Freshers also considerable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12, ₹25,000.00 per month
