About the role:

This role is for Partner Marketing. Google Cloud works with an ecosystem of partners including resellers, global system integrators, Tech and ISV partners to build mindshare and source demand for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Workspace (GWS). Our goal is to source demand measured as pipeline generated in US$ and qualified sales opportunities (QSOs) against investments made (RoI), ensure discipline around pipeline progression and help drive deal wins.

The role requires the candidate to work with a strategic set of partners that contribute significantly to Google Cloud’s pipeline 1) through timely, detailed, business-aligned and astute marketing plans, 2) execution of the same, 3) accurate and timely reporting of metrics and 4) campaign closures - all with the highest level of transparency, integrity and objectivity

This is a mid level role with an expectation of 5 to 8 years of work experience. The candidate should have worked in/for a tech company, handled partner/channel marketing, has a record of delivering on measurable goals, is extremely comfortable with operations and numbers, has managed vendor relationships and has experience across B2B marketing activities (F2F events, social / digital campaigns, virtual events, content creation). A self starter, who is self disciplined and well versed with the above will thrive in this role

The role depends on the ability of the candidate to manage partner, vendor and internal stakeholder relationships, be adept at planning and execution of marketing activities , drive operational excellence, with zero tolerance for non-compliance and the highest regard for credibility and details.

Currently the candidate will be required to work remotely from home and come to office on a need-basis. Should this change in the future, as per Google’s policies, the candidate needs to be comfortable coming to office as and where needed.

What you will be doing:

1. Manage a strategic set of partners to help plan, execute, monitor partner-led marketing budgets and activities2. Build business-aligned marketing plans with partners at the beginning of each half year cycle (Jan-Dec)3. Drive regular cadence with partners to monitor execution through interlock with target accounts, personas, vendors, activities, content and speakers4. Track and monitor plans, investments, pipeline, opportunities, campaign submission, campaign closure and performance analysis5. Ensure adherence to Google Cloud brand guidelines6. Contribute to ad-hoc requests such as to-partner activities, PR and customer references as needed7. Uphold Google's values and ensure work is done objectively with full integrity and transparency

What you need to be great in this role:

- Results Oriented: Proven experience in delivering measurable results, and rooted in planning, monitoring, executing and reporting with the highest regard for accuracy & integrity.- Very comfortable with numbers, working on Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, dashboards, reporting tools- Tech industry experience, can quickly grasp nuances of the cloud business- Experience in partner marketing / handling partners.- Accountable, self disciplined and self-motivated with an eye for details- Effective in written and verbal communication (mainly in English)- Embody Google Cloud’s values of respecting the opportunity, respecting the user and respecting each other consistently and without compromise- Operate from a place of inclusivity, respect and humility- MBA from a reputed institute with a minimum of 5 years in a B2B marketing or related space, ideally in the IT / technology industry.
