Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment, Selection & Induction of Employees
  • Manpower Optimization & Workforce Planning
  • Lead structured manpower rationalization initiatives to align workforce size, skills, and productivity with business realities.
  • Drive reskilling/redeployment programs and execute separation/retirement schemes with minimal disruption.
  • Industrial Relations & Employee Engagement
  • Manage interactions with unions and worker representatives, ensuring constructive dialogue while safeguarding company interests.
  • Negotiate settlements, resolve disputes, and handle disciplinary matters with fairness and firmness.
  • Build and sustain an environment of trust, transparency, and operational stability.
  • Manage statutory requirements related to all IR matters.
  • HR Strategy & Organizational Development
  • Align HR strategy with business goals, embedding a culture of accountability and performance.
  • Support restructuring and transformation initiatives across functions.
  • Drive initiatives to improve productivity, cost consciousness, and employee morale.
  • HR Operations & Statutory Compliance
  • Ensure statutory compliance with labor laws, statutory filings, and company policies.
  • Strengthen HR systems and processes for payroll, and grievance handling.
  • Use data-driven decision-making to support leadership.
  • HR Governance to ensure discipline , Policy administration & change management
  • General Administration

Candidate Profile

  • MBA/PGD in HR/IR or equivalent from a reputed institute.
  • 1520 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 57 years inmanufacturing sector HR/IR leadership roles.
  • Proven expertise inunion negotiations, industrial relations, manpower rationalization, and workforce transformation.
  • Strong grasp of Indian labor laws, compliance frameworks, and government/union interfaces.
  • High resilience, maturity, and ability to operate in complex industrial environments.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and change management skills.
