Location: Work From Office – Kondapur, Hyderabad Experience: 2+ years (startup experience is a big plus) Work Schedule: 5 – 6 days/week (depending on business needs) Team Size: ~150 employees About the Role We’re looking for a hands-on HR Generalist who can own day-to-day HR operations and talent acquisition in a fast-growing startup. This is a doer role , not a policy-only role. You’ll work closely with leadership, support teams, and help build a strong, people-first culture. If you’re someone who enjoys execution, ownership, and working in a dynamic environment—this role is for you. What You’ll Do Employee Lifecycle Management Manage end-to-end onboarding (offer letters, ID cards, asset allocation, etc.) Handle exits, resignations, terminations, absconding, and disciplinary cases Maintain employee records and HR documentation Payroll & Compensation Process monthly payroll, attendance, and leave data Calculate and manage incentives and payouts Coordinate with finance for salary disbursement Resolve payroll-related queries and corrections HR Policies & Compliance Implement and communicate HR policies clearly Conduct HR policy sessions for new and existing employees Ensure policy adherence across teams Handle employee grievances and resolve conflicts professionally Employee Engagement & Culture Plan and execute team activities, festivals, and engagement initiatives Work with leadership to build a positive office culture Drive retention and employee engagement efforts Office & Asset Management Manage office assets (laptops, accessories, ID cards, access) Track asset allocation and recovery Coordinate with admin teams and vendors when required HR Operations Support Be the go-to person for employee HR queries Support managers with HR-related decisions Assist with audits, reports, and internal reviews Talent Acquisition Support hiring across teams - Product, tech, leadership, sales, support Coordinate interviews and follow the hiring process with managers What We’re Looking For Strong hands-on experience in HR operations with experience in talent acquisition Good understanding of startup work culture Clear communication and strong people-handling skills Ability to handle sensitive issues and conflicts with maturity Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment Preferred Qualifications Graduate / Postgraduate in HR or Management Prior startup or high-growth company experience Hands-on experience with payroll and incentive management Can communicate in multiple south indian languages Why Join Praja?
