Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals in the contract staffing segment.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and establishing relationships with decision-makers at target companies.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to understand client requirements and customize staffing solutions to meet their needs.
  • Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs, and incorporate findings into business development strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business and drive account expansion.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to secure new business and renewals.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of staffing services, including candidate sourcing, screening, and onboarding.
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics to management regularly.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to contract staffing.
  • Represent Horizontal Talent at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate leads.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in business development within the contract staffing industry.
  • Strong understanding of the staffing industry, including temporary and contract workforce solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and hiring managers.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop actionable plans to capitalize on them.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving results.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
