Man Matters, is a digital elective health platform for men, helping 2.5M+ men every year diagnose and solve for their hair loss, beard growth, fitness and nutrition concerns by offering personalized treatment plans and access to expert doctors and health coaches.
Be Bodywise, is an online women’s elective health platform, serving 4M+ women every year by providing personalized solutions and doctor consults across concerns for hair health, body care, Sleep and nutrition.
Little Joys, is an online health platform for kids, helping 2M+ parents every year solve for their child’s physical, mental and emotional development by offering age-appropriate solutions for nutrition, immunity, brain health, bone health with access to expert doctors and nutritionists.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on and results-driven Category Marketing Manager to own and execute strategies that drive category growth while building a consumer-first brand. This is a role for someone who thrives on getting things done, works effectively across teams, understands funnel metrics and has a proven ability to deliver measurable outcomes. If you are a go-getter with a knack for understanding consumer needs and a passion for building innovative, relatable brands, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and Execute Category Strategies
Develop and implement actionable plans to grow the category and achieve business objectives.
Identify and prioritize key initiatives based on data, funnels, consumer insights, and market trends. Tracking funnels and analysing data to make decisions is a critical part of this role.
Ensure seamless execution of category plans, tracking progress and adapting as needed.
Drive Results Through Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with product, brand, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
Build strong relationships across teams to get things done efficiently and effectively.
Influence and coordinate stakeholders to meet deadlines and deliver results.
Build a Consumer-First Brand
Foster a deep understanding of consumer needs and preferences, ensuring all strategies align with their expectations.
Do extensive research and collaborate with content and brand teams to craft compelling narratives and campaigns that resonate with the target audience. It’s one of the most critical parts of the job
Maintain a balance between execution excellence and innovative brand-building efforts.
Leverage Consumer and Market Insights
Conduct regular analysis of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Translate insights into actionable strategies that address unmet needs and drive growth.
Monitor performance metrics and use data to refine and improve category initiatives.
Deliver Impactful Product Launches
Partner with product development teams to bring new innovations to market.
Manage end-to-end execution of product launches, ensuring timely delivery and strong market entry.
Continuously optimize product performance based on customer feedback and market dynamics.
Be a Go-Getter and Problem Solver
Take ownership of challenges and find solutions proactively.
Demonstrate a bias for action and a commitment to driving outcomes.
Maintain a focus on execution excellence, ensuring plans are implemented effectively.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Minimum 5 years in Category Management, Marketing, Product Management, or similar roles within consumer brands. Experience in health and wellness or digital-first brands is a plus.
Execution Focus: Proven ability to deliver results through effective planning, execution, and problem-solving.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Strong track record of working across teams and influencing stakeholders to achieve goals.
Consumer-Centric Mindset: Passionate about understanding and solving consumer needs, with a knack for identifying key insights.
Brand Building: A creative approach to crafting narratives and campaigns that build an emotional connection with consumers. Hands-on experience with performance marketing platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Google search, Youtube is essential.
Analytical Skills: Great with Google Sheets. Ability to interpret data and use insights to inform decisions and drive performance. Experience with platforms like Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Appsflyer, Branch, Clevertap etc is a plus.
Ownership and Accountability: A self-starter who takes initiative and ensures projects are seen through to completion.
Communication : Clear and persuasive communicator who can rally teams and stakeholders around common objectives.
