The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and overseeing the successful delivery of products or services. This role involves acting as the main point of contact between the company and its clients, coordinating internal resources, and driving account growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management : Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients. Regularly communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Client Onboarding and Training: Assist with client onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition and setup.
Account Planning and Strategy: Develop account strategies to meet client needs and objectives and identify opportunities for account growth and service enhancement. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement account plans.
Sales and Revenue Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products/services to clients. Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and contracts to clients.
Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on account status, client feedback, and performance metrics. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay informed about market conditions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, client relationship or a related field
Excellent written and spoken Mandarin and English. (Ideally you have lived in China more than 5 years)
Strong understanding of risk management principles, financial analytics, and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet business objectives.
