Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Manager at Avana Care. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. This includes managing resources, coordinating with various departments, ensuring efficient processes, and establishing policies and procedures. The role requires strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Job Title:Operations Manager

Job Summary:The Operations Manager at Avana Care is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the community, ensuring a safe, efficient, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management:- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.- Create and manage staff schedules for adequate coverage.- Foster a positive, teamwork-oriented work environment.
Operational Oversight:- Oversee daily community operations for efficiency and effectiveness.- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.- Manage community budgets and monitor expenditures.- Ensure the community is well-maintained and safe.
Resident Care and Satisfaction:- Ensure residents receive high-quality care and services.- Address and resolve resident and family concerns promptly.- Conduct regular assessments to meet resident needs
Regulatory Compliance:- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.- Prepare for and participate in inspections and audits.- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Quality Improvement:- Implement quality improvement initiatives.- Analyze performance data and generate reports.- Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).- Minimum 5 years of operations management experience, preferably in senior living or healthcare.- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and multitasking skillsHospitality Management and healthcare managementStrong leadership and decision-making abilitiesEmpathy and understanding towards residents and their familiesAbility to effectively communicate and collaborate with different teams and stakeholdersKnowledge of industry best practices and standardsProficiency in project management tools and softwareBachelor's degree in business administration or a related fieldAdditional certifications or training in operations management is a plus
