About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
to lead our manufacturing and business operations. The COO will be responsible for formulating and executing strategic initiatives, optimizing operational processes, managing budgets, and ensuring seamless cross-departmental collaboration to support the company's growth and profitability goals.

This role requires strong expertise in
manufacturing, fabrication, and plant operations
, with a preference for candidates experienced in
biomass-based manufacturing
or the
bioeconomy sector
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including manufacturing, production, and business functions.
  • Develop and implement effective business strategies to drive growth and operational excellence.
  • Lead budgeting processes, monitor financial performance, and ensure cost efficiency across operations.
  • Enhance productivity by optimizing processes, systems, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads to align operational goals with company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion, innovation, and process improvement.
  • Represent the company in strategic partnerships, industry forums, and stakeholder meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 10+ years
    of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, and plant operations.
  • Proven expertise in
    biomass-related manufacturing
    or
    agri-based industries
    preferred.
  • Strong background in
    business planning, operations management, and financial oversight
    .
  • Proficiency in
    analytical thinking, process optimization, and strategic execution
    .
  • Demonstrated success in
    budgeting, cost control, and resource management
    .
  • Exceptional
    leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
    .
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • MBA
    or an advanced degree in
    Business Administration, Operations, or related fields
    preferred.
