Business Development Representative

Position: Business Development Representative- Start-up , North America Market
We're looking for energetic, driven professionals with strong business acumen and natural sales instincts to join our dynamic team. Ideal candidates are eager to progress through a clear learning and earning path. BDRs strategically develop and qualify revenue opportunities in North American territories, working closely with Account Executives (AEs). We’re looking for highly motivated, tenacious self-starters for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities to fuel Chargebee's sales pipeline.
- Create and prioritize strategic target account lists for North America (companies with 50-99 employees).
- Research and build cold accounts by adding contacts, sending emails, cold calling, LinkedIn InMails, and video prospecting.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales quotas.
Required Skills:
- At least 1 year of Business Development experience in the SaaS space (new business development, cold calling, planning/strategy).
- A track record in prospecting the North American market and international experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High energy and a positive attitude.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Note:
This is a role that requires you to work from 7 pm to 4 am IST for North America
This is a hybrid role, and the BDR should be willing to relocate to Bangalore or Chennai.
