- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract finalization, employing strategic negotiation tactics and fostering exceptional customer satisfaction through ongoing account management.
- Proactively cultivate industry thought leadership through market research and analysis, staying ahead of trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new market opportunities.
- Craft compelling presentations and proposals tailored to specific customer requirements, effectively showcasing the strategic and competitive advantages of our materials.
- Lead and mentor junior team members (if applicable), fostering a collaborative and high-performing sales environment.
- Travel periodically to meet with key clients and attend industry events to build strong relationships and brand awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of demonstrably successful experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong, long-term client relationships within the metals & minerals, luxury goods, automotive, or a related industry.
- Extensive experience in strategic account management, fostering deep partnerships with key clients and driving significant revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence high-level decision-makers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on identifying customer needs and developing win-win solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A passion for sustainability and ethical sourcing practices is a plus.
