About the role

The Vice President - Operations Services, Asia provides strategic leadership on the development of regional operating standards by ensuring that the integrity and optimization of the standard processes, data and systems are maintained. Manages execution support against key operational requirements, asset reliability and first level maintenance support for the region. Also manages the provision of support compliance to Field Operations, Operations Training, and driving Operational Discipline through the region. The position may be based out of India (Hyderabad) or Indonesia (Jakarta).

What you will be doing

Develops an appropriate governance framework for the region in support of ensuring a robust operating disciplineCoordinates and owns strategy and long-term sustainable plan for achievement of consistent operating standards across the regionAligns the capital program approach with the region’s strategy, improves the delivery of program benefits and manage the program life cycle.Leads regional asset management setting maintenance strategies, ensuring compliance to maintenance strategies for all assets, and Fixed Asset Register MaintenanceLeads Capital management and optimization project deliveryEnsures Operational Training Compliance to planRepresents the region in Global Operations Excellence

Your qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience post professional qualificationAdvanced knowledge of internal processes and policies, or ability to rapidly acquire sameInternational experience preferably within mining/explosives, manufacturing or oil and gas industriesExtensive line management in a variety of roles and environmentsWell developed mentoring and coaching skillsProven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstreamProven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groupsStakeholder management, including C-level: ability to operate effectively at both the strategic and operational levelDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, including prioritization, planning, task delegation, and coordination across multiple teamsDemonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationshipsFinancial acumen & budgeting experienceAble to build structure in ambiguous situations and establish best practices
