Business Development Manager

to drive business growth and revenue from the retail and FMCG sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, client acquisition, and market expansion. This role requires a deep understanding of the retail and FMCG sectors and their procurement cycles.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to drive growth in the retail and FMCG sectors.Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with potential clients.Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, including pitching, negotiating, and signing agreements.Work closely with the marketing and product teams to create tailored solutions for the specific needs of clients.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the retail and FMCG industries.Stay up-to-date with market trends, competition, and industry developments to inform business strategies.Prepare and deliver regular business reports, including sales forecasts, pipeline status, and performance analysis.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of business development initiatives.Requirements:8-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the

Retail

and

FMCG

sectors.Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.Strong understanding of procurement processes, market trends, and client needs within the retail and FMCG industries.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience with online auction platforms, surplus inventory management, or logistics would be a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
