Key Responsibilities
- Market Research and Strategy: Conduct extensive market research to identify new business opportunities, target markets, and emerging trends within the wellness industry (e.g., corporate wellness programs, fitness, nutrition, mental health, spa/beauty, health technology). Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand the company's reach and presence.
- Lead Generation and Sales: Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, industry events, social media, and client referrals. Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to negotiation and deal closure.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, strategic partners, and industry influencers. Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific goals.
- Proposal and Contract Management: Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations. Lead contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to business growth.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity. Prepare regular reports for senior management on business development activities, progress towards targets, and opportunities for improvement.
- Brand Advocacy: Represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and events to raise brand awareness and expand the professional network.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor budgets, forecast potential revenue growth, and contribute to the company's financial planning
