As a Technical Presales Specialist, you'll be responsible for working closely with potential clients to understand their needs and recommend the best solutions from our portfolio of digital transformation services. With your deep technical expertise and strong communication skills, you'll play a critical role in driving the success of our Digital Service Line and helping our clients to achieve their business goals. Key responsibilities for the role include:
with the sales team to understand customer requirements and business objectives and providing technical insights and recommendations for proposed solutions.
and leading the technical response to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, including gathering input from technical subject matter experts and ensuring that the response is comprehensive, accurate, and compelling.
and maintaining a deep understanding of the company's software development and maintenance services and solutions, and effectively communicating their value proposition to customers and prospects.
technical presentations and demonstrations to customers and prospects, showcasing the company's capabilities and differentiators.
and addressing technical and business risks associated with proposed solutions and developing mitigation strategies to address them.
a strong working knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies related to software development and maintenance and incorporating this knowledge into proposals and responses.
with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and project management, to ensure that proposals and responses are delivered on time and meet the customer's requirements.
Requirements for the role include:
degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
years of experience in technical presales or software development and maintenance, with a strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technical and business risks associated with proposed solutions.
to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and results-oriented mindset.
with RFP, RFI, and RFQ processes, and experience developing responses to these types of requests.
with agile development methodologies, as well as software development lifecycle processes and tools.
