Department: Quality Assurance and Control

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

 

JOB OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking a experienced and detail-oriented Head of Quality to lead their Quality Assurance and Control department. The ideal candidate will ensure that our lighting products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability. This role requires a strong background in quality management, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and Implement Quality Assurance Strategies: Formulate and execute comprehensive quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure product excellence.
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the Quality department, aligning the team with company objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Quality Control and Compliance: Oversee product testing, inspection processes, and quality audits, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to integrate quality assurance throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the quality control process and implement effective solutions to enhance overall quality.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, providing detailed reports and recommendations to senior management.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly addressing and resolving quality issues, maintaining high standards of service.
  • Industry Knowledge and Compliance: Stay informed about industry best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements, ensuring the company remains compliant and competitive.

 

REQUIRED SKILL SET

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing industry, preferably in lighting or electronics.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful quality management systems and practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards).
