About The Role
We are looking for a seasoned
App Team Lead
with strong technical expertise and proven managerial capabilities to lead our mobile development team. This role combines hands-on development experience with people and project management responsibilities, driving timely and quality app delivery across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of mobile developers (iOS Android).
  • Define and implement technical standards, architecture, and development practices.
  • Act as the bridge between the development team, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure clarity of goals and efficient execution.
  • Oversee project timelines, task allocations, sprint planning, and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide regular feedback, and support career growth of team members.
  • Facilitate problem-solving, remove roadblocks, and ensure smooth team collaboration.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality, performance, and security standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest in mobile technology and foster innovation within the team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in mobile app development, with at least 3+ years in a team lead or managerial role.
  • Proficient in one or more of the following: Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, or React Native.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams, setting goals, and ensuring accountability.
  • Strong project management skills with a clear understanding of agile/scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
  • Sound understanding of app architecture, design patterns, performance optimization, and mobile UI/UX principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Firebase, App Store/Play Store deployment, crash analytics, and app monitoring tools.
  • Exposure to working with cross-functional teams and remote developers.
  • Familiarity with mobile backend services on AWS, Azure, or Firebase.
