About The Role

We are looking for a seasoned App Team Lead with strong technical expertise and proven managerial capabilities to lead our mobile development team. This role combines hands-on development experience with people and project management responsibilities, driving timely and quality app delivery across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of mobile developers (iOS Android).
- Define and implement technical standards, architecture, and development practices.
- Act as the bridge between the development team, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure clarity of goals and efficient execution.
- Oversee project timelines, task allocations, sprint planning, and ensure deliverables are met.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide regular feedback, and support career growth of team members.
- Facilitate problem-solving, remove roadblocks, and ensure smooth team collaboration.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality, performance, and security standards.
- Stay updated with the latest in mobile technology and foster innovation within the team.

Requirements

- 7+ years of experience in mobile app development, with at least 3+ years in a team lead or managerial role.
- Proficient in one or more of the following: Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, or React Native.
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams, setting goals, and ensuring accountability.
- Strong project management skills with a clear understanding of agile/scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
- Sound understanding of app architecture, design patterns, performance optimization, and mobile UI/UX principles.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Firebase, App Store/Play Store deployment, crash analytics, and app monitoring tools.
- Exposure to working with cross-functional teams and remote developers.
- Familiarity with mobile backend services on AWS, Azure, or Firebase.
