Role Description – Maintenance Worker

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Bengaluru North. The Maintenance Worker will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant facilities by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and carrying out repair work as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance on kitchen machinery, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and avoid costly repairs.
  • Handle minor carpentry work such as door, furniture, and fixture repairs.
  • Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs (leakages, wiring, lighting, drainage, etc.).
  • Operate and maintain power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests from operations and kitchen staff.
  • Maintain proper records of repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards across facilities.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or contractors when specialized repair services are required.
  • Support the restaurant team during inspections and audits related to facility upkeep.
  • Qualifications & Skills
  • 2–3 years of proven work experience as a Maintenance Worker, Technician, or in a similar role (preferably in hospitality, F&B, or facility management).
  • Hands-on experience in carpentry, plumbing, and equipment maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
  • Skilled in the safe handling of power tools and repair equipment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems will be an added advantage.
  • Team player with good communication and a proactive approach.
